Los Cabos meaning “The Capes” is on the Bottom part of the Baja Peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortes in North West of Mexico, just south of the United States Border with San Diego, CA. The Baja is a long strip of land, over 1000 miles long, all surrounded by water and very rich in fish species. Cabo San Lucas, in the early 1900s had a few fishermen installed beside a fresh water lagoon.
