Melius killed creative work.

That’s not a typo — the emphasis is on work.

The bottleneck for creative endeavors was resources for far too long: crews, tooling, equipment and hell, even daylight. The distance between ideation and production was measured in weeks of work and how much you knew about editing tools with names too wordy to say.

And that constraint decided who got to be creative at all.

I’m a software engineer by trade. In 2023, ChatGPT said “Hello World” and accelerated my productivity twofold, but that was just the beginning.

In a matter of months, AI got good enough to solve problems on its own, and the paradigm flipped: if you could confidently delegate to an agent, why not deploy ten? Or twenty?

For the first time, output no longer scaled with hours and instead with intent and agency.

But right now, that luxury exists only for them; however, should work ever be a bottleneck for anyone to express their imagination?

It shouldn’t be.

A fleet of agents and the right interface to manage it for creative work will be the catalyst to let the entire world do more with their imagination instead of being limited by labor. Tooling to translate your taste into a workflow, whether a brief that becomes a marketing campaign or a “warmer, less intensity” prompt that regrades the whole timeline.

That’s the future we’re building here at Melius.

For the creative director with 20 years of experience who wants to spend their time envisioning the brand’s biggest campaign ever. For the kid who wants to make his first Minecraft montage. For you, who couldn’t make that one killer vlog because you didn’t know how to use MAGIX Movie Studio Suite Platinum.

To the 9 year old me, this is for you.
